Ed Henkler, Founder of The Blind Guide

The Blind Guide focuses on helping people thrive with vision loss, both the people losing their vision and their caregivers. His activities are influenced by his years in the Navy nuclear power program and his mother’s loss of sight to age-related macular degeneration in the early 1990s. He provides a variety of services to people who are blind and with other disabilities and also to veterans and military spouses. 

Part of The Blind Guide’s service offerings is focused on free employment resources which connect job candidates with employers that believe in the business value of employing people with disabilities, veterans, and military spouses. You can learn more here.
